Insurance collections for roofers. Depreciation and supplements chased until they are paid.
The roof is on. The ACV check cleared months ago. The recoverable depreciation and two approved supplements are still sitting with the carrier because nobody sent the completion certificate and nobody called back. We do the sending and the calling, every week, and report what is still out.
Why insurance money goes uncollected
The rep moved on to the next storm. The office is buried. The carrier is happy to wait.
Depreciation is not released until the carrier gets proof the job is done and a final invoice. It sits until someone sends it.
The adjuster said yes on the phone. It never made it to an invoice. It is not owed until it is billed.
If the books do not show it, nobody knows it is missing. Most owners are surprised by the total.

Common questions
What exactly do you chase?
Recoverable depreciation, approved supplements, homeowner deductibles, and retail balances. Anything on the AR aging that is past due.
Do you call the carriers?
Yes. We send completion certificates and final invoices, follow up with adjusters on a schedule, and log every touch. You see the status of every dollar in a weekly report.
Do you call homeowners?
Yes, for deductibles and retail balances, in a professional tone. We do not do aggressive collections. If an account needs a lien or an attorney, we hand it back to you with the paper trail ready.
How much is usually sitting out there?
On the storm roofers we have looked at, $10,000 to $30,000 in depreciation and supplements at any time, often more after a busy season.
What does it cost?
$450 a month flat. No percentage of what we collect. It usually pays for itself in the first month.
Do I need your bookkeeping for this?
No. We need read access to your job board and a way to invoice. Most clients do both because the receivables come straight from the books.
Find out what carriers still owe you.
Tell us a little about your company and the state of your books. We come back with a flat monthly price for the pieces you want, and your first month is on us.
